Today, the Edmonton region’s hydrogen ecosystem came together to celebrate a new phase for the Edmonton Region Hydrogen HUB. This relaunch marks a shift toward deeper collaboration, focused execution, and regional leadership in building a low-carbon economy. At the heart of this new chapter is a renewed governance structure and a dedicated group of funding partners: Alberta's Industrial Heartland Association, Edmonton Global, Edmonton International Airport (YEG), and Alberta Innovates. Together, these partners are driving collaboration across the region—aligning industry, government, and community to accelerate the growth of our hydrogen economy. With a strong leadership and history building the Edmonton region's hydrogen ecosystem, Brent Lakeman, Executive Director for the Edmonton Region Hydrogen HUB brings an assured vision for the future successes of our hydrogen economy.
