The CHA's Nicolas Hilario was pleased to represent Canada at the inaugural International Hydrogen Development Symposium in Hong Kong, held March 13–15. The event brought together 800+ leaders from industry, government, and academia to explore global hydrogen developments and opportunities for collaboration. Today, the Canadian Hydrogen Association shares the news that Ivette Vera-Perez, President and CEO of the Canadian Hydrogen Association (CHA), has made the decision to step down from her role, effective March 28th. During her time with CHA Ivette played a key role in advancing the development of Canada’s hydrogen sector, growing the Association’s reach, and strengthening collaboration across industry and government. "On behalf of the CHA board, I would like to sincerely thank Ivette for her leadership and numerous contributions over the past three years. Her vision, dedication, and tireless efforts have played a pivotal role in strengthening the association and advancing the hydrogen sector in Canada. Under her leadership, CHA has grown in influence, forged key industry partnerships, and helped shape critical policy discussions. Her impact will be felt for years to come, and she will be greatly missed. We wish her all the best in her next chapter." said CHA Chair Beth Buckmaster. Nicolas Hilario has been appointed as Interim President and CEO and will lead the Association during this transition period.
