Los Angeles Climate Week is officially kicking off April 6, and the movement is already in full swing! 🌎💚 All week long, LA will become the hub for climate action, bold ideas, and collective impact - bringing together leaders, creators, innovators, and everyday changemakers. This year’s theme of “Future Proofing & Resilience” addresses disaster recovery in light of the recent LA wildfires, emphasizing the need for community wellness, environmental restoration, sustainable infrastructure development, and climate policies. In partnership with The Jane Goodall Institute, LA Climate Week is dedicated to driving climate action through community-led programs and initiatives, uplifting underrepresented voices, identifying the needs of our communities, and promoting environmental stewardship and education. From powerful panels to hands-on activities, we’re spotlighting the solutions shaping a more sustainable future right here in Los Angeles. Let’s reimagine what’s possible together.

We’re excited to announce that Larta Institute is joining forces with The Collidescope Foundation as a partner for the second LA Climate Week, happening April 6-13! Larta’s mission is to foster science and technology innovation for a sustainable planet. As the world faces major challenges in sectors like food, energy, and healthcare, and beyond, they believe that new science and technology are key to transforming how we feed, fuel, and heal the world. Through their innovation platform and ecosystem, they help bringing breakthrough ideas to life—connecting founders with the funding, mentorship, and resources they need to build sustainable enterprises. One way they do this is through their Venture Fellows Program, a nine-month, immersive experience that supports innovators in piloting and scaling solutions that enhance community resilience and adaptability to extreme weather and environmental challenges.
