FLEXI-cross Project Demonstrates Cutting-Edge Border Security Technologies at Romania-Moldova Rail Crossing The FLEXI-cross project, under the partnership of Beia Consult International, recently held a live demonstration of its groundbreaking border security technologies at the Romania-Moldova rail crossing. This event showcased the advanced, portable border-check solutions designed to enhance security and operational efficiency at key border points. Focusing on Use Case #3, the demonstration highlighted a comprehensive, mobile system tailored to the unique needs of rail border security. The system integrates state-of-the-art detection and identification modules with legacy infrastructures, creating a seamless and robust security environment for cross-border operations. This innovative solution is a vital step towards modernizing border control procedures, offering a scalable and adaptable model for use in rail environments. By enhancing the detection and identification process, the FLEXI-cross system significantly strengthens security while reducing the time and effort required for border checks, contributing to smoother, safer rail crossings between Romania and Moldova.
