➡️ The 7th Plenary meeting of the NextGEM project took place between the 8th and 9th of April, hosted by eBOS and Sphynx, in Larnaca, Cyprus. eBOS was represented at the event by Nicolas Louca, R&D Project Manager, alongside over 30 participants from 21 organisations to review the significant progress made across all work packages. Discussions focused on advancements in the NextGEM Innovation and Knowledge Hub (NIKH), scientific research, experimental use cases, and outreach activities such as dissemination, communication, and IPR management. As a key partner, eBOS leads efforts in quality assurance, exploitation, IPR management, and project outreach. eBOS also develops the NIKH front-end dashboard and oversees the outreach Work Package, ensuring the project's innovations are effectively communicated and maximising its impact through strategic dissemination and stakeholder engagement. ➡️ From April 2 to 3, the 6G-BRICKS Project, titled "6G-BRICKS: Building Reusable testbed Infrastructures for validating Cloud-to-device breaKthrough technologieS," held its annual plenary meeting in Athens, Greece, hosted by Intracom Telecom. eBOS was represented by Dr. Gianna Ioannou, PhD, Senior R&D Project Manager, who leads the company’s involvement in the project. 6G-BRICKS aims to deliver a new 6G facility, building on the baseline of mature ICT-52 platforms, which bring breakthrough cell-free and RIS technologies that have shown promise for beyond 5G networks. eBOS plays a pivotal role in the 6G-BRICKS project by leading WP7: Dissemination, communication, standardisation, exploitation and open calls. As the leader of T7.1, eBOS oversees the Dissemination and Communication activities of the project. This entails contributing, along with partner support, towards the promotion and communication of its key results, aiming to maximise visibility and impact. ➡️ eBOS participated in the 4th General Assembly Meeting of the 6G-PATH project, held on March 27–28, 2025, in Bucharest, Romania. Christos Skoufis, PMP®, Deputy Head of R&D Projects, attended in person, while Marilena Paraskeva, R&D Project Manager, joined remotely. Marilena presented updates on dissemination, commercialisation, and standardisation activities of the project, took place under WP7 led by EBOS. He also shared progress on other key areas led by eBOS, including: Task 1.3 – Quality Assurance and Risk Management, and Technical work under WP3, such as the Analytics Dashboard and Northbound Interface, integrated with the Testbed Repository. The meeting brought together all project partners to align on goals, share progress, and plan next steps—especially around the use cases and trials contributing to the project's 6G vision. ➡️On March 26th and 27th, 2025, eBOS proudly opened its doors to the Nestler-Project partners, hosting the plenary meeting at its headquarters in Nicosia, Cyprus. The hybrid event was chaired by Project Coordinator Prof. Theodore Zachariades (SYNELIXIS) and brought together partners from Europe and Africa. eBOS was represented by Georgia Pantelide, Senior R&D Project Manager. Nestler-Project is an EU-Africa joint initiative that promotes a One-Health #sustainable partnership by integrating advanced technologies to monitor the well-being of #animals, #plants, and #humans in a holistic way. By building on the FARM2FORK strategy, NESTLER supports the transition from a linear to a circular economy and contributes to creating a joint EU-Africa task force on One-Health sustainability. eBOS leads the development of an economic risk assessment model using deep learning as well as the integration of project components into the unified NESTLER platform and the validation of the platform.
