Four staff volunteers from our Queen's University Belfast-led Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre and DVA Mallusk Test Centre sites recently supported the Business in the Community Northern Ireland 'Step into Spring' Volunteer Action Day. They volunteered at the Wave Trauma Centre in Belfast, giving their time to have a positive impact in the community. Mark McCaskie and Cameron Kooner from our site management team at the The University of Manchester Chemistry Building project recently attended a training session with Street League Manchester, following a generous £875 donation from Henry Brothers. This funding will go to providing essential items such as undergarments, hats, and gloves to support the young people that Street League helps, ensuring they stay engaged and motivated during colder weather. Henry Brothers had the opportunity to deliver a sustainability presentation to Northern Regional College (NRC) construction students and local school pupils at the NRC Farm Lodge Campus in Ballymena. Celebrating #WorldArtDay! Art and construction came together at our Belper Health Hub project, where the site team partnered with Long Row Primary School for a special artwork competition. Year 1 and 2 students put their creativity to work, designing artwork inspired by a Henry Brothers construction site. Assistant Site Manager Ben Wilson and Sustainability Advisor Hannah Crawford visited the school to award a prize to the winning piece and generously donated an iPad to the class as a thank you for their fantastic efforts.
