Here are some of the numbers from building houses for the Ruiz, Morales, and Barazza families: ✅ Number of volunteers: 32, from age 8 to 65, with 2 first timers ✅ Days of building: 3 ✅ Number of houses built: 3 ✅ Number of children that will no longer be sleeping on dirt floors: 7 ✅ Number of previous home build and/or scholarship recipients who volunteered to help with this build: 2 high schoolers View the high level summary Reel here: https://lnkd.in/g5KFiriP If you donated a dollar, if you said a prayer, then you were a part of giving these 7 children a 17% greater chance of living, and up to a 93% cognitive increase from going from sleeping on dirt to concrete. This was a great article for tween girls! Love this question and answer... What advice do you have for teenagers who want to make a difference in their communities like you have. My advice is to embody the change you wish to see. Whether advocating for policy changes or actively participating in community projects, never underestimate your ability to make a difference.
