What if I said how you talk about money and generosity in your church could be tied to how much your church gives? Generosity is more than just tithing. It's more than just dropping cash in the offering plate or writing a check. I want to help you build a culture of generosity that starts with how you engage your church and its approach to giving. Announcing the beginning of the MAD Church. What is the MAD Church? Great question. Have you ever wanted to belong to an organization that focused on serving others exclusively - an organization that makes a difference - where all your contributions go toward the benefit of others? This is the MAD Church mission. Too often we hear, "I would love to contribute, but all churches are in it for the money" or "I don't know what the church is doing with my contributions" or "There are so many poor examples in the church; I don't trust anyone". In some cases, sadly, these statements are all true. How about finding a different view of the church? MAD stands for "Make a Difference". We see something completely different in how Jesus ministered to people in the Bible compared to what we see in the world today. In the Bible, we see Him serving the people first and foremost. After the people were served, then He spent time teaching the people. This is exactly the mantra of the MAD Church: Serve First, Speak Second. You can read about that focus more at this link: https://lnkd.in/gxSbDaMm and see if you agree with our organizational focus. Visit our website. Listen to our first message. See if you want to be part of the MAD Church, no matter what city you live in. Our aim is to impact communities across the globe: 1) to educate and 2) to support local causes in order to 3) simply "make a difference" in the lives of others. https://lnkd.in/gm9UXrg9

🎄 A Full Church Doesn’t Always Mean Full Offering Plates 💒 Did you know that while church attendance is growing, giving hasn't kept pace with inflation for two years in a row? According to the latest State of Giving Report from the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA): ▶️ 70% of surveyed churches struggled to keep up with inflation in 2024. ▶️ Some churches are forgoing Christmas bonuses to manage rising costs. ▶️ Year-end giving is critical, with some churches receiving up to a third of their annual donations between Thanksgiving and New Year’s. 💡 What can churches do? Focus on mission-driven communication, engage volunteers, and explore creative giving options like stocks and digital platforms. It's a challenging time, but as Warren Bird, ECFA’s senior vice president of research, reminds us, resilience and trust in the Lord remain strong foundations for the church. 🙏 👉 Check out the full article from Christianity today here: https://buff.ly/4ghH8qP .

Five Empowering Principles for Christian Fundraisers 1. I will not forget that every gift, no matter the size, is a blessing from God. 🙏 2. I will not lose faith in God’s provision and timing. ⏳ 3. I will not be discouraged by setbacks, trusting that God has a greater plan. 📈 4. I will not measure success by the total amounts raised or numbers alone but by the impact on supporters' lives and hearts. ❤️ 5. I will not overlook the power of prayer in every step of our supporter journeys. 🙌 #christiangiving #faithbased #generosity #stewardship (Brand new and exciting podcast series for Christian fundraisers in Europe coming soon - a collaboration of Redina Kolaneci & Ivan Petro)
