I don’t usually post big announcements, but this one’s special. A little over a year ago, I scribbled an idea on a napkin from my favorite sushi takeout spot in Houston. I wanted to use AI to help pharmaceutical sales professionals—just like I was back in 2013. I remember thinking..."I have no idea what I'm doing" 🤷♂️ , so I called my favorite doctor and friend, Benjamin Alouf MD, MBA. That call became PraxisPro. 🎯 We knew the biggest challenge for reps was clear, impactful communication with healthcare providers. So we set out to build a platform powered by conversational AI to help Life Science commercial teams develop real selling skills and enable them to drive revenue. We were two first-time, non-technical founders with no funding—just a big vision. We scraped together support from friends, family, and our own savings. After months of market research, message testing, and plenty of setbacks (including a Fiverr scammer), we finally built our MVP. 🚀 Nearly 200 VC rejections later, we got our break: Techstars believed in us. That momentum helped us bring on a rockstar technical co-founder, Bhrugu G., and push our product toward commercialization. 📈 Fast-forward to today: the team is strong, our product is live and growing, and the flywheel is turning. ⚙️ PraxisPro is now evolving into a full-scale, AI-powered commercial infrastructure—helping sales, medical, and brand teams align strategy, boost engagement, and drive commercial effectiveness across the Life Sciences industry. My co-founders Arne, Liliane and I had the great privilege to get to visit True Ventures and their absolutely inspiring portfolio companies for Founder Camp to spend some time together in California over the last two weeks. Two of the key points we discussed (obviously): 🤖 AI is here to stay and to disrupt every industry (not soo sure about agentic AI, though), and also ⚡️ the transformation in the energy industry is only speeding up, independently of short-term policy change Mostly it was just so nice to connect and learn from other founders and the True team outside of the daily hustle though, super grateful to be part of this community. Huge thanks to everyone at True Ventures, this is really one of the most amazing experiences! Toni Schneider, Priscilla Tyler, rohit sharma, Ulrike Kellmereit, Bryan Mason, Jeffrey Veen, Madeline Minshew, Caroline Ciaramitaro, Mikaela Lipsky and everyone else involved :)

This month I had a chance to attend True Ventures Founder Camp in Ojai, California and the experience left me with some valuable tools and information to bring home. I was impressed from start to finished, learned a ton and had the chance to reconnect with incredible people. Thank you Christiaan Vorkink for bringing Kickback into True's .org portfolio, thank you Lars Nilsson for always providing me the inspiration and energy I need to grow, and thank you Paul A. Campbell for trusting me and my vision from day 1. I love this group, all it has taught and given me, and the growth it offers me to share with my community. The lessons are invaluable.
