Our third Newsletter is out! This time you can find useful information about some of the main goals of the MELCHIOR Project . One of them is Sports Security and the impact our research and final product are going to have in the future. Additionally, we present some of our new synergies with TENACITy Project and Meteor Rapid Cargo Screener, EU-Funded Project , and some of our events that took place. The DETECTION HUB Workshop: Clustering innovative scientific approaches to enhance the detection of drugs, explosives and illicit goods has officially started! We are excited to announce the launch of the first DETECTION HUB Workshop, bringing together experts and innovators in the field of public procurement, security, technology, and detection. To kick off the event, we were privileged to have opening remarks from Manuel Jesus Izquierdo Bernal, Deputy Director General at Communication & Information Systems for Security at the Spanish Ministry of Interior as well as Dimitrios Myttas, Head of Border Security and Control sector at KEMEA. Their insights and leadership set the tone for what promises to be an inspiring and impactful event. The first DETECTION HUB Workshop took place in Madrid, Spain, at CETSE premises.
