Expanding our partnership with One Tree Planted, we will plant 110,000 trees in California to support wildfire reforestation efforts. This brings our total to 750,000 trees planted together since 2022.   Our team recently volunteered with One Tree Planted at the Bolsa Chica Land Trust in Huntington Beach, CA. We not only cleared invasive species, but also planted and watered over 120 native plants to help restore Bolsa Chica’s Coastal Sage Scrub and Grassland habitat. 🌱✨ Learn more: https://lnkd.in/ghRq9nJz

March total sales jumped 13%, marking our sixth consecutive month of record-breaking performance. It was also our best March ever for total and retail sales—and the second biggest month in Hyundai history!   Q1 was just as strong, with best-ever total and retail sales, a 10% increase in total sales, and huge growth in electrified models. Claudia recently joined Hyundai Motor America as COO, where her leadership philosophy is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and fostering a sense of ownership within her teams. Over the years, one key lesson she’s embraced is the importance of listening and offering constructive feedback to cultivate growth as a leader. Beyond her professional life, Claudia values personal well-being, regularly exercising and cherishing quality time with her family. An interesting fact? Claudia has a deep love for cooking, which offers her a much-needed moment of calm away from the fast-paced automotive world.

This historic commitment will expand U.S. production to 1.2 million vehicles annually across HMG brands, strengthen local supply chains, and create over 100,000 new job opportunities by 2028. We're growing our U.S. manufacturing footprint by upgrading facilities at Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama and opening the brand new Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) in Georgia. Hyundai Steel will also establish a new $6 billion low-carbon steel plant in Louisiana as part of this transformative initiative.
