On 3. April Fredrick Støa from Equinor Ventures attended the panel at the excellent webinar “What’s Next for Electrochemical LDES”, organized by Pantokrator, together with esteemed panellists from EnerVenue, VoltStorage, e-Zinc and the Long Duration Energy Storage Council (LDES Council). He shared his investor perspectives on the space and highlighted that the future of long duration energy storage involves much more than excellent technology. Success will need to include robust supply chains, sound and well-executed business models and the unlocking of financing – involving all parts of the capital stack. There is a clear need for LDES on the grid and the innovation displayed in the webinar provides a strong foundation. To realize the potential of LDES, therefore, extensive collaboration among series of stakeholders represents a key success factor. #LDES #CorporateVentureCapital
