Remember when Miro was just sticky notes? 👀 Time to turn your boards into games. Literally! Shenanigans! 🤪 For me, it’s a spark to build something new in Miro every single time. It keeps things playful, fires up my creativity, and helps me grow as a facilitator & creator. And I love watching people interact with what I’ve created. What do they click first? Where do they get stuck? What sparks a smile? It’s one of the best ways I’ve found to learn – instant, honest feedback just by observing. ↳ Is it clear? ↳ Fun? ↳ Does it even work? Watching people play gives me answers fast. With that feedback in mind, I gave it some extra love – cleaned up the layout, simplified the flow, clarified instructions, and added multiple difficulty levels, spinner wheels, and game modes. This year, I decided to invest more in writing a newsletter, ‘𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗹𝘆.’ ✔️ 9 issues published so far this year ✔️ Close to 1,000 subscribers And yes – if you do the math – it’s the "kind of weekly" newsletter. 😉 But I'm not beating myself up for skipping a few weeks. I need to start somewhere, right? I’m still figuring out my style, refining my structure, and building a routine. Still genuinely proud of myself! Writing LinkedIn posts like this usually happens spontaneously, sometimes multiple times a day, and doesn’t take me very long most of the time. But writing a newsletter? For me that's hours of: 📌 Drafting … oh … all the drafts. 📌 Finding engaging topics 📌 Determining the perfect length 📌 Structuring content clearly 📌 Balancing beginner-friendly explanations with deeper insights 📌 Working on the visual appeal 📌 And of course – creating the perfect meme for the "Enough Said" section I’m passionate about the geeky side of virtual facilitation, L&D, audience engagement, tools, and tech. Writing about one topic often triggers 482 new ideas. (The squirrel game is real!) 🐿️ Focusing on 800 – 1,000 words about a single topic is very challenging for me. Yet, hitting "send" and seeing the "🎉 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘀! 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗫𝗫𝗫 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘀" message is so rewarding. 🤤 With Facilitainment Weekly, I get to structure my thoughts and dive deeper into topics, share the how (not just the what), and connect all the puzzle pieces for context.
