Patient Service training tip that medical office managers and physicians can use to develop excellent patient service skills in their staff: Active Listening: “If patients do not think that you are actually listening to them, they will feel that you do not care.” Tip: Encourage staff to practice active listening by fully concentrating on the patient, understanding their concerns, and responding thoughtfully, which will show that you have listened and do care. Teaching Tip: Conduct role-playing exercises where one staff member acts as the patient and the other practices active listening. Emphasize the importance of body language, eye contact, and not interrupting the patient. Provide feedback on these trainings to improve patient encounters. Remember we work in Healthcare so we must take the time to listen as people come to us for help and they will only come back if they feel we care about them and their needs. If you don't feel like you have the time to do this for your staff, I can help! Message me today to learn more about my Virtual Practice Administration services Tina@TopPractices.com

The Power of Continuous Learning in the Med Spa Industry: Staying ahead of the curve isn't just an option—it's a necessity. Training is an integral part of the expansion strategy at Ethos Aesthetics and Wellness. In the aesthetics industry, one of the troubling trends is inexperienced medical providers opening up locations. Training is important to ensure the best outcome and maintain patient safety. Ethos focuses on a comprehensive training and shadowing program which includes didactic training, clinical training and evaluation, and addition of advanced therapeutics to optimize patient results. Dr. Hardik Soni, Co-Founder and Medical Director, is both a Platinum level injector with Allergan Aesthetics and GAIN trainer with Galderma, offering sessions for practices nationwide. Additionally, he encourages Ethos staff to be trained by others so he is not the only one training them, and that we continue to have the highest standards of patient care. This is what sets Ethos apart - we are not competition driven. We are banking on the best for our patients - and education and safety are our utmost priorities. Sadly, the medspa industry is not heavily regulated. This is why it's imperative to go to a place with a legacy of experience and training. Ongoing education ensures that professionals stay compliant with current laws and regulations, avoiding legal pitfalls and ensuring ethical practices. Ethos is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and development in the med spa industry. By doing so, we not only enhance our professional growth but also elevate the quality of care we provide to our clients.
