Our colleagues Dr. Nadja Grabenströer and Sebastian Glenschek have been under way at the Global Supply Chain and Logistics Summit in Amsterdam since yesterday. At the two-day international industry get-together, logistics and SCM experts learn from and with each other and exchange ideas on innovations that can be used to make global supply chains more efficient, sustainable and resilient. Nadja and Sebastian are using the event for networking, for the thematic deep dive and to contribute our expertise in the area of supply chain optimisation. And not least, it's about taking stock: Where do companies stand in the configuration of their digital supply chain - which tools and technologies are already in use? There are two key takeaways: 1. Artificial intelligence is being used more and more and is becoming increasingly established. 2. All companies in the logistics environment are dealing with one top issue - the disruption of the supply chain.   Many thanks to the organisers for the wide-ranging event programme - and to all the speakers and participants for the useful insights and discussions on the digital future of logistics. #GlobalSupplyChainandLogisticsSummit #Logistics #Innovation #Digitalization
