Slightly geeky but very very important post. If we can’t access data we can’t compile data sets, analyse and create impact through the insights we can create.

The Winds of Change Are Blowing in Healthcare IT! 🌬️ As we stand on the brink of 2025, the healthcare industry is poised for a monumental shift. The document "Why Classic EMR Vendors Will Be Replaced by OpenEHR and AI Agents Architectures" paints a vivid picture of the impending transformation in Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). It's clear that the traditional, monolithic EMR systems are facing their twilight, and the dawn of a new era is upon us. The Rise of OpenEHR and AI Agents The document highlights the limitations of current EMR systems, which have become barriers to innovation and progress. The introduction of OpenEHR and AI Agents promises a future where healthcare providers can focus more on patient care rather than administrative tasks. This shift is not just about technology; it's about redefining how healthcare professionals interact with technology, making it more intuitive and less cumbersome. A Call to Action for Healthcare Providers For those in the healthcare sector, this is a clarion call to embrace change. The document suggests that 2025 will be the year when we witness the downfall of traditional EMRs, making way for systems that are: - More Flexible: Allowing for seamless integration of new tools and technologies. - Patient-Centric: Enhancing patient outcomes through sophisticated data analysis. - Cost-Effective: Reducing administrative burdens and thereby cutting costs. Engage with the Future As we approach this pivotal year, here are some questions to ponder: - How prepared is your organization for this shift? - What steps can you take to ensure a smooth transition to OpenEHR and AI-driven systems? - How can we collectively work towards a healthcare system that truly benefits both providers and patients? Let's make 2025 the year we not only witness but actively participate in the transformation of healthcare IT. Acredia #HealthcareInnovation #OpenEHR #AIinHealthcare

Interesting read, including the comment session. One commenter said the issue with data access should begin with standardizing processes. I feel this could be one of the main factor that makes implementation of nationwide EMR difficult. There are too many variations of processes between KKM hospitals (even between neighboring wards within the same hospital). https://lnkd.in/gMcZYKeM
