Congratulations, Borough of Collingswood Dept of Public Works on the ribbon cutting of the new public works complex at Sloan and Harrison Avenues. Thriven Design is proud to have provided architecture and full MEP/FP services for the project which upgrades the municipal facilities of our own home town! Scope of the work included the design and construction of a new 22,000 sf multi-use building including 5 garage bays, climate-controlled offices and locker rooms, plus secure storage for temporary equipment. The site is EV-ready and solar photovoltaics-ready, providing for an economical and sustainable future. We're thrilled to take another step forward in the comprehensive redevelopment of the former Herndon Homes public housing community in Atlanta! Pennrose and project partners announced we have closed on financing for the third phase of Herndon Square, which will bring 178 additional affordable homes to the 12-acre master planned community. Once complete, the initiative will deliver 379 multifamily homes, 97 senior apartments, 32 affordable townhomes, critical infrastructure improvements, a neighborhood grocer, supportive services, and resident amenities. 🏘️ 🎉 In today's project spotlight: Queen Lane Apartments in Philadelphia, Pa. Thriven Design provided professional A/E services for this award-winning project, which was developed by Dale Corporation and completed in 2015. Scope of work consisted of the demolition of an existing fifteen-story, 119-unit, high-rise apartment building occupying one city block in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the design and development of a new affordable apartment community, offering a total of 55 units in five buildings. Queen Lane Apartments achieved LEED Silver Certification and was recognized with a Gold Award for Community Presentation in the Pennsylvania Apartment Association’s Annual ‘Best in Apartment Living’ Awards, as well as a NAHRO Award ofMerit in Housing Community Development. The George is a blend of market-rate and affordable apartments, including 3,385 SF of retail space in four bay configurations on the ground floor. Each residential floor is comprised of six one-bedroom and two two-bedroom apartments with modern design features and unique floor plans.
