For weeks we've been working on getting this event together to celebrate the opening of PlayPort and the expansion of Louisville Waterfront Park. Hundreds of kids? ✔️ 10+ media outlets? ✔️ Front page op-ed? ✔️ Governor, Mayor, city and state leaders? ✔️ Community buy-in? ✔️ This project has the potential to be so transformative for an area that has long been neglected and it was an honor to be able to help tell that story. We are proud to welcome Children's Advocacy Centers of Kentucky (CAC Kentucky) as our newest client. CAC Kentucky plays a critical role in advocating for and supporting children who have experienced abuse. By providing a collaborative, child-centered approach to investigations and recovery, they ensure that young survivors receive the care, justice, and healing they deserve. At Tandem Public Relations, we are honored to support their mission and help amplify their vital work across the state. Together, we will raise awareness, engage communities, and drive impactful change for Kentucky’s most vulnerable children.

We are looking for a dynamic, hard-working summer intern to join us! This is a paid internship and you'll get first-hand experience doing actual PR work...you won't be making copies or getting coffee. Many of our previous interns have joined us in a full-time role after graduation.

Great look back by Courier Journal at the opening of Phase I of Louisville Waterfront Park in 1999. Hard to believe we are just a few months away from phase IV opening to the public. Nothing like ending the year with a new client! Kentucky Kingdom is going through a TON of changes with $25 million dollars being invested in the park for 2025 and 2026 and our team is over-the-moon about teaming up for these projects. Stay tuned!
