Dive into a New Exhibit – The Newport Aquarium has unveiled “Jellies: Go with the Flow.” 👉 https://lnkd.in/gnVCJJcg Captivating and enigmatic, jellyfish are one of the earliest multi-organ species to have evolved. While perhaps most interactions with jellyfish involve bad memories of being stung, the Newport Aquarium invites visitors to take a deep dive into “the graceful, ethereal world of these ancient marine wonders.”  Opening on March 21, “Jellies: Go with the Flow” is a 1,700-square-foot expansion to the aquarium costing $1.5 million.

Today marks a special moment in our aquarium’s history as we celebrate the grand opening of Jellies: Go With the Flow. Executive Director Rebecca Foster cut the ribbon this week for the $1.5M exhibit with some special guests, including Julie Kirkpatrick, CDME with meetNKY Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau, Brent Cooper with Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, and Mayor Tommy Guidugli. We are so excited for our guests to experience the beauty and wonder of Jellies in this immersive and atmospheric space.

Today was a big day as we introduced the all NEW Jellies: Go With the Flow gallery to local media and some of our biggest fans in the Greater Cincinnati Tourism Industry. We can’t wait for our pass holders to get a peak on Wednesday and open it to the public this Friday!

We believe that the work we do extends beyond the walls of the aquarium. It’s about making a positive impact wherever we can. This week, our leadership team rolled up their sleeves to make turkey and cheese sandwiches for Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen & Social Center in Cincinnati to help those who need it most. It was a rewarding experience and we’re thankful for the opportunity to serve our community. #CommunityService #GivingBack #MakingADifference #Teamwork
