SCB is redefining urban living in Philadelphia. In a recent feature by Philadelphia Style Magazine, SCB Principal and Executive Director Clara Lopez- Wineberg, AIA offers a behind-the-scenes look at the vision driving three of the firm’s standout residential towers — The Laurel, Josephine, and The Alcott. Each project is a bold expression of contemporary design grounded in the city’s rich architectural legacy. More than just buildings, these luxury residences offer distinct experiences that reflect the culture of their neighborhoods through refined materials and thoughtful details. Take The Alcott, a 12-story, 387,000-square-foot tribute to Northern Liberties’ industrial past. Its striking metal exterior gives way to elegant interiors, creating a seamless dialogue between grit and grace. “The design transitions from the manufacturing metal and patina of the past on the building’s exteriors to an opulent interior with plush furnishings, stone articulation, displayed on fireplaces and golden accents.” – Clara Wineberg, AIA Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gNwHq7Xc #SCBdesign #PhiladelphiaDesign #BostonDesign

In the latest issue of Properties Magazine, SCB Principal Devon Patterson, AIA, LEED AP describes the design process behind Raye, a 229-unit luxury residential tower located in Shaker Heights, Ohio, the tallest building in the Cleveland neighborhood. A novel addition to the Van Aken District, the 400,000 square-foot building introduces urban living to a suburban area. Inspired by the landscape and traditional Tudor-style homes of Shaker Heights, the design integrates the city's historic architectural character while providing a contemporary aesthetic for the mid-rise residential building. "We wanted the green spaces to be indicative of a traditional Shaker Heights neighborhood with big trees and outside areas for residents to use." - Devon Patterson, AIA, LEED AP Read more about Raye here: https://lnkd.in/dc3XKCwm

We’re elevating Boise’s skyline with The Arthur, a 26-story residential tower that just completed in the city’s downtown. Inspired by the mountain ranges that frame the city, The Arthur is the tallest residential tower in the state. The design of The Arthur aims to blend urban living with the natural landscape. The signature feature is its sculpted top, reflecting the surrounding rugged peaks and offering a two-story amenity deck with state of the art recreational and social amenities. The Arthur represents a strong collaboration between SCB, Oppenheimer Development Corporation, PCP Generational Partners, and Power Construction, resulting in a building that enhances Boise's architectural landscape and embodies its spirit.
