Recently, we celebrated the final steel beam being lifted into place at The Park Ward Village, a thoughtfully designed residence with architecture by SCB, interiors by Yabu Pushelberg, and landscape by VITA Planning & Landscape Architecture.   The topping off ceremony marks a significant milestone for the Ward Village team and our incredible community partners.   “Each milestone in Ward Village is a reflection of the many professional trades who help bring it to life, which is why we celebrate these achievements with a gift to support the construction industry,” said Doug Johnstone, President of the Hawai‘i region for Howard Hughes.   For this occasion, we presented checks to the Hawai‘i Laborers & Employers Cooperation and Education Trust, and Professional Women in Building Hawai‘i Council, a program of BIA Hawaii.   Learn more in Pacific Business News: https://bizj.us/1qnb51   #wardvillage #howardhughes Howard Hughes Holdings Inc.

Homeowners of The Park Ward Village are one step closer to moving in, as partners and team members recently commemorated the final steel beam being lifted into place. Upon completion, the residence will provide new homes, expand new retail and dining options, and enhance the pedestrian-friendly streetscape along with Ward Village’s 3.5-acre Victoria Ward Park, which opened its makai phase last month. This event reflects the many professional trades that continue to make Ward Village a vibrant gathering place for all, and we are honored to celebrate by continuing our tradition of "topping off and giving back." With each milestone, Ward Village pledges a charitable contribution to support workforce development and training opportunities for Hawaiʻi’s youth. $30,000 was donated to the Hawai‘i Laborers & Employers Cooperation and Education Trust Fund and Professional Women in Building Hawai‘i Council, a program of BIA Hawai‘i.
