For too long, geothermal has been the quiet contender in the clean energy race — powerful, but overlooked. That’s changing, and fast. In Bloomberg Originals’ new feature, “The Big Business of Drilling Deep Into the Earth,” Sage Geosystems takes center stage in showing how geothermal potential is no longer limited by geography — and how technologies from the oil & gas sector are unlocking Earth’s heat like never before. We’re forging the future of energy with those who know the ground best — the experts who’ve spent careers unlocking the Earth’s potential. Our team includes geophysicists and engineers from the oil & gas industry, applying their skills to a more sustainable future. It’s proof that the energy transition isn’t just about technology — it’s about people, and what’s possible when we channel experience into innovation. From fracking-inspired breakthroughs to our pilot plant delivering baseload energy in Christine, Texas, this is geothermal reimagined — and it's just the beginning! 📺 Check out the documentary here: https://lnkd.in/eEYx66yN #Geothermal #Energy #OilAndGas #EnergyStorage

Geothermal everywhere.
About us
Sage Geosystems™ is a transformative geothermal energy company whose core team has over 150 combined years of O&G and turbomachinery experience and more than 200 patents with a proven record of action and delivery. We have developed proprietary geothermal technologies targeting lower surface temperatures (100 to 250°C) which, if successful, will reduce the cost of geothermal electricity production and enable "geothermal everywhere" across the U.S. and around the world. Sage is unique in that we have a bias to action and moving quickly to field testing. We also recognize there are so many different parameters that impact the design of the well and power plant, so we have developed a geothermal modeling tool called GeoTwin and have tested it with real field data from the DOE and our own field tests. This modeling tool allows us to accurately estimate the amount of geothermal power that can be generated based on geological conditions, wellbore configurations, power plant efficiencies, etc. GeoTwin is unique to the industry and gives Sage a competitive advantage by reducing the need for capital spend by accurately predicting field results via modeling.

🚨Sage Geosystems is teaming up with GeoRedox to launch an advanced field demo for stimulated geologic hydrogen (SGH)—a game-changing approach to ultra low-cost, carbon-free hydrogen. Our partnership accelerates natural hydrogen generation using a first-of-its-kind process that taps into widely available iron-rich rocks. Through this joint-effort, countries like Japan, Germany, and India can now unlock domestic hydrogen production, reducing dependence on natural gas imports. A huge thanks to Robert Stoner and the GeoRedox team for making this collaboration possible!
