  • Some places live on the map. Others stay with you forever. This is a visual love letter of Paradiso 2025 ❤️🔥 captured by @mcln_studio, etched in us. Five days, a thousand stories: of inspiration, truth, connection, and discovery. Somewhere between the running club at sunrise and the late night music sets, between the talks that cracked us open and the art that stitched us back together—we found Paradiso. A creative heaven built by all of us. Workshops that turned into therapy. Strangers who became friends. A community that felt like family. Paradiso returns March 4–8, 2026. Mérida, Yucatán, MX. Come get lost. Come get found. ⛅️✍🏻🧳🥽🧊🪇🖇️🪂🌐

sansserification noun | sans·ser·i·fi·ca·tion | /ˌsæns-sər-ə-fə-ˈkā-shən/ 1. The gradual loss of brand personality and distinctiveness, often through over-simplification, over-sanitization, or excessive adherence to minimal design trends (especially those involving sans-serif typefaces). 2. The process by which a once-bold, story-rich identity is reduced to a sterile, indistinct, and forgettable aesthetic in an attempt to appear “modern” or “safe.” Usage: “Their rebrand was a complete sansserification—now it just looks like every other tech startup from 2018.” -- It was at Paradiso that I first introduced the idea—and it was met with head nods, hollers, and applause. Afterwards, even more people followed up to talk about it. I think giving the movement a name really made it stick: Sansserification. -- Inspirers and conspirers - lmk if this is too ridiculous or just enough ridiculous. Stop chasing. Start attracting. When you chase, you compromise. You water down. You over-explain. You try to please. But when you create from a place of clarity— You attract. You don’t need louder tactics. You need deeper truth. That’s the difference between being in demand and being ignored. Between trying to sell… and being not on sale. Because when your presence is built on purpose, You become undeniable. The leap isn’t into more effort. It’s into more honesty. More resonance. More guts. More you. Take the leap. Stop chasing. Start attracting. — *Picture of Héctor Ayuso and Beatriz Martínez Pazos at Paradiso 2025 shot by soydelosespiritus #NotOnSale #TakeTheLeap #CreativeLeadership #BrandPower #AttractDontChase

𝙻̲𝚎̲𝚊̲𝚛̲𝚗̲𝚒̲𝚗̲𝚐̲ ̲#̲𝟼̲:̲ ̲𝚃̲𝚑̲𝚎̲ ̲𝚆̲𝚊̲𝚛̲ ̲𝙰̲𝚐̲𝚊̲𝚒̲𝚗̲𝚜̲𝚝̲ ̲𝙿̲𝚛̲𝚘̲𝚌̲𝚎̲𝚜̲𝚜̲𝚎̲𝚜̲ I came to Paradiso with questions about the process I built for OUTERCRAFT. My user-centric method delivers strong results, but I started sensing its limits and was curious about how others manage their creative process. 🔻 What hit me first—and made me question everything—was the panel talk between Jessica Hische, Timothy Goodman, and Ben Tallon. “𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘤𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺,” Jessica said. She also explained that she needs full creative control over a project, as it's her way of expressing style—driven by behavior, personality, and a focus on making interesting work. Later, during a conversation with Guillermo Flores Pacheco, Pablo Honey shared that processes are often just excuses to avoid trusting our intuition. They create certainty, which he sees as anti-creative. I was relieved when Stefan Sagmeister brought a more balanced view—and especially when he brought the client back into the picture. 🔺 Here’s what I took from these conversations: 🔻 𝗧̲𝗵̲𝗲̲ ̲𝗰̲𝗼̲𝗿̲𝗲̲ ̲𝗶̲𝘀̲ ̲𝗵̲𝗮̲𝘃̲𝗶̲𝗻̲𝗴̲ ̲𝗰̲𝗼̲𝗻̲𝘁̲𝗿̲𝗼̲𝗹̲ ̲𝗼̲𝘃̲𝗲̲𝗿̲ ̲𝘆̲𝗼̲𝘂̲𝗿̲ ̲𝗰̲𝗿̲𝗲̲𝗮̲𝘁̲𝗶̲𝘃̲𝗲̲ ̲𝗱̲𝗲̲𝗰̲𝗶̲𝘀̲𝗶̲𝗼̲𝗻̲𝘀̲ ̲𝗮̲𝗻̲𝗱̲ ̲𝗶̲𝗻̲𝘃̲𝗲̲𝘀̲𝘁̲𝗶̲𝗻̲𝗴̲ ̲𝗶̲𝗻̲ ̲𝘄̲𝗵̲𝗮̲𝘁̲ ̲𝘁̲𝗿̲𝘂̲𝗹̲𝘆̲ ̲𝗿̲𝗲̲𝘀̲𝗼̲𝗻̲𝗮̲𝘁̲𝗲̲𝘀̲ ̲𝘄̲𝗶̲𝘁̲𝗵̲ ̲𝘆̲𝗼̲𝘂̲.̲ But, as several experienced designers reminded us: We are always in relationship—with clients, partners, audiences. And 𝙸̲ ̲𝚍̲𝚘̲𝚗̲’̲𝚝̲ ̲𝚋̲𝚎̲𝚕̲𝚒̲𝚎̲𝚟̲𝚎̲ ̲𝚒̲𝚗̲ ̲𝚝̲𝚑̲𝚎̲ ̲𝚖̲𝚢̲𝚝̲𝚑̲ ̲𝚘̲𝚏̲ ̲𝚝̲𝚑̲𝚎̲ ̲𝚞̲𝚗̲𝚝̲𝚘̲𝚞̲𝚌̲𝚑̲𝚊̲𝚋̲𝚕̲𝚎̲ ̲𝚐̲𝚎̲𝚗̲𝚒̲𝚞̲𝚜̲ ̲𝚠̲𝚑̲𝚘̲𝚜̲𝚎̲ ̲𝚏̲𝚎̲𝚎̲𝚕̲𝚒̲𝚗̲𝚐̲𝚜̲ ̲𝚊̲𝚛̲𝚎̲ ̲𝚋̲𝚎̲𝚢̲𝚘̲𝚗̲𝚍̲ ̲𝚚̲𝚞̲𝚎̲𝚜̲𝚝̲𝚒̲𝚘̲𝚗̲. Collaboration requires communication and reassurance. So, here’s where I stand now:  ▪️ ℙ𝕣𝕠𝕔𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕖𝕤 𝕒𝕣𝕖 𝕘𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥 𝕚𝕗 𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕪 𝕤𝕖𝕣𝕧𝕖 𝕒𝕤 𝕒 𝕗𝕝𝕖𝕩𝕚𝕓𝕝𝕖 𝕗𝕣𝕒𝕞𝕖𝕨𝕠𝕣𝕜—something you choose to navigate in, to provide clarity and build trust. They can also act as chosen constraints—challenges that push the work further.  ▪️ 𝔹𝕦𝕥 𝕡𝕣𝕠𝕔𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕖𝕤 𝕓𝕖𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕖 𝕝𝕚𝕞𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕨𝕙𝕖𝕟 𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕪 𝕥𝕣𝕪 𝕥𝕠 𝕥𝕦𝕣𝕟 𝕔𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕥𝕪 𝕚𝕟𝕥𝕠 𝕒 𝕞𝕒𝕔𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕖, or when they leave no space for randomness, experimentation, and the unexpected. What’s your experience with creative processes? Do they serve you—or box you in? #design #creativity #innovation Marko Pfann Elise Auger 📸 in Uxmal

Protect the work. Protect the joy. You’re NOT on sale. Not everything has to be strategic. Not every moment needs to scale. Not every idea needs to justify itself in a deck. Some things are worth doing because they light you up. Because they move you. Because they remind you why you started in the first place. That spark — the obsession, the instinct, the flow — it’s sacred. And it’s yours. The world will try to systemize it. To optimize, monetize, polish it until it disappears. Don’t let it. Say no more often. Work with people who make you better. Protect the moments that feel raw and real. The ones that make you forget time. That’s where the good stuff lives. You are not a machine. You are not a product. You are NOT on sale. You’re a maker. A thinker. A builder of things that didn’t exist until you touched them. And that means something. So protect the joy. Protect the work. And keep showing up — not for the algorithm, not for approval — but because you give a damn. And that’s everything. — This lovely picture from Tala Schlossberg, was shot by Owen Harvey, at Paradiso 2025 ❤️ 🔥

Art director I Senior Graphic Designer

𝑻𝙖𝒌𝙚𝒂𝙬𝒂𝙮 𝙛𝒓𝙤𝒎 𝑷𝙖𝒓𝙖𝒅𝙞𝒔𝙤 #3 Being part of a team has always seemed powerful to me. During my years with those amazing partners Florian Auger Margaux Cardetti Pierrick Pichaureaux and Roméo Belin I appreciated how we built a strategy and developed a global branding from the product to the communication. We co-built our branding method, experimenting and gaining skills. As a graphic designer, I enjoyed taking on the challenge of exploring new areas—especially industrial—to grow my potential. Now that the agency has come to an end, it’s time to reflect on the choice of the creative work process. ⚪️ Working under the guidance of an external creative vision, which means designing an interpretation of a strategy but one that is constantly guided and transformed? ⚪️Assuming and carrying our own creative vision, knowing how to surround ourselves – and thus delegate – all or part of its execution? Listening to the participants at Paradiso makes me realize that nearly all of us encounter these questions at some point in our careers as designers. In any case, I notice how essential it is to build a strong creative network, having people to help carry your creative vision further. Thus, I feel grateful to all OUTERCRAFT team. Thanks Josue Ibañez for our brief, yet revealing, conversation on the term « creative direction ».
