𝑻𝙖𝒌𝙚𝒂𝙬𝒂𝙮 𝙛𝒓𝙤𝒎 𝑷𝙖𝒓𝙖𝒅𝙞𝒔𝙤 #3 Being part of a team has always seemed powerful to me. During my years with those amazing partners Florian Auger Margaux Cardetti Pierrick Pichaureaux and Roméo Belin I appreciated how we built a strategy and developed a global branding from the product to the communication. We co-built our branding method, experimenting and gaining skills. As a graphic designer, I enjoyed taking on the challenge of exploring new areas—especially industrial—to grow my potential. Now that the agency has come to an end, it’s time to reflect on the choice of the creative work process. ⚪️ Working under the guidance of an external creative vision, which means designing an interpretation of a strategy but one that is constantly guided and transformed? ⚪️Assuming and carrying our own creative vision, knowing how to surround ourselves – and thus delegate – all or part of its execution? Listening to the participants at Paradiso makes me realize that nearly all of us encounter these questions at some point in our careers as designers. In any case, I notice how essential it is to build a strong creative network, having people to help carry your creative vision further. Thus, I feel grateful to all OUTERCRAFT team. Thanks Josue Ibañez for our brief, yet revealing, conversation on the term « creative direction ».
I like your shift from helping a 'visionary' leader with your skills to trusting your own vision. I think the one that seems less scary might, in the end, not be that comfortable.
