Meet Gary Schwam who joined our team as the Director of Finance and Accounting in February. Gary leads the accounting and financial operations at Lynx, ensuring the integrity of company and fund finances through adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and a conservative fiscal policy. In addition, he oversees the company's real estate portfolios, reviews financial data, and provides detailed reports to investors. With 20 +years of experience in financial real estate, Gary has held senior leadership roles as CFO and Director of Finance, managing departments including Accounting, Human Resources, IT, and Corporate Office. He has also led Partnership Administration and Asset Management functions, helping to drive strategic decision-making and risk mitigation. Welcome Gary!

Meet Victoria Jessup! Victoria joined the Lynx Ventures teams as Office Administrator last November. She provides HR support, administrative management, and financial management to bolster our staff and daily operations. Prior to joining us, Victoria managed operations and supported the staff at Children’s Dentistry of Virginia, where she oversaw daily practice management, insurance credentialing, and training for new employees. With a strong foundation in office management and client care, Victoria is skilled at streamlining operations, managing schedules, and maintaining a fun environment to elevate our company culture & employee morale.

Introducing Purwanti Ruff, a Senior Staff Accountant, who joined the Lynx Ventures team this past November. Purwanti graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and has been working in the real estate industry for more than eight years. Her education and work experience, and passion for volunteering in her community bring a new dynamic to the accounting team at Lynx Ventures. She loves to read, enjoy going to movies, hiking/camping, and traveling. We couldn’t be more proud to work with Hamilton Glass to bring contextual mural art to the design in collaboration with our landscape partners at Waterstreet Studio! Our team continues to grow! Meet Caroline B., Real Estate Manager at Lynx Ventures, who joined the team last October. Caroline is a seasoned real estate professional with over 12 years of extensive experience in the industry. At Lynx Ventures, Caroline oversees the management of both commercial and multi-family assets. Prior to joining Lynx, Caroline successfully directed and expanded an operations team overseeing a substantial portfolio of office, commercial, and multi-family assets in Virginia. Caroline’s leadership has been instrumental in driving growth, operational efficiency, and tenant satisfaction, solidifying a strong track record in asset management and property development.

Meet Michael Pulliam, Regional Maintenance Supervisor for Lynx Ventures, who joined the team in April 2024. Mike began his career servicing retirement communities where he advanced from Maintenance Technician to Maintenance Supervisor. From there he began working for multi-family communities which led him to the development side of the industry taking care of Assets for Lynx Ventures. Mike carries 10+ years of experience in property maintenance and is also EPA, Lead, and CPO certified. Stay tuned for more team member introductions! 

The Lynx Ventures team continues to expand and we have several new team members to introduce. First up is our Development Manager, Andres Romero Pompa who joined the team last August. Andres has a diverse background in real estate development, architecture, and finance. At Lynx, he leads the development of affordable housing and mixed-use projects, managing everything from predevelopment and financing to construction and regulatory approvals. Prior to Lynx, Andres founded a real estate advisory and architecture firm in Baja California, where he oversaw a range of projects including industrial masterplans and multifamily developments. He also gained valuable experience at Bjarke Ingels Group, leading business development efforts and designing major cultural and institutional projects around the world. Andres holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and an MBA from MIT Sloan, where he specialized in real estate and finance. Stay tuned for more team member introductions!
