Last September, I flew to London for a first-time led by Gabriel Nussbaum + Aydan Al-Saad 👏.
Considering my job, I have really high standards for events and experiences—and this one hit on so many levels. There were ice baths, saunas, hot seats, and fireside chats. In short: a very different experience than most events I attend.
Immediately after an ice bath (yes, still in my robe), I watched the final keynote: Chris Donnelly.
To be totally transparent, despite Chris being a successful creator and a customer, I hadn’t come across his content before. But within five minutes of hearing him speak, I knew I’d find a way to get him on the Craft + Commerce stage.
Chris built and sold a luxury marketing agency (Verb Brands) before he turned 30. Then co-founded Lottie, now valued at £125M.
He’s grown his LinkedIn from 35K to nearly a million followers in two years.
Now he runs The Creator Accelerator, helping founders and execs turn their expertise into scalable brands and revenue.
While all of that is impressive, those aren’t the reasons I wanted him on stage.
The next day, Chris stuck around for a hot seat mastermind and poured into every single creator who volunteered. He didn’t have to do that—he was there for a fireside chat. But he popped over and just started dropping knowledge that only someone who’s actually done it can share.
Each creator got what felt like a $5,000 consulting session—in five minutes.
(It left me wondering what the value must be inside his accelerator.)
This is the culture of Craft + Commerce.
These are the types of creators we want in the room.
The ones who share. Who teach. Who don’t gatekeep.
We know how important LinkedIn is becoming for professional creators, and there is literally no one better to teach it than Chris.
Have you attended C+C before? If so, drop something you learned (and actually applied) to your business from a speaker. I’d love to hear it.
And if you have not already bought your ticket ask me why you should attend and I will both convince you (based on your unique business) and give you a coupon code that only I can give haha. This will be a fun game!
Craft + Commerce is happening June 11–14 in Boise. Come hang out with me!

p.p.s. I knew he good from my own experience but an endorsement from Sahil Bloom really reinforced what I already knew to be true. Can't wait for y'all to learn from Chris.
