Last week, big things were happening at our Pomona community in City of Manvel as we rolled out the red carpet for our fourth and final model home grand opening event! The spotlight was on our high-density product line, with beautifully designed homes from David Weekley Homes and Highland Homes taking center stage. Over 100 guests came out to celebrate, explore, and experience what makes this community so special. But the excitement didn’t stop there—one lucky realtor walked away with a $1,000 prize! It was a day of inspiration, connection, and community—and a perfect example of how Pomona continues to raise the bar.

Yesterday we hosted the official grand opening event for our new community Treeline! We kicked things off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside the City of Justin Mayor, James Clark, which included a $5,000 donation to support their Tree City USA designation. Realtors toured our eight stunning model homes, enjoyed great food, activities, and giveaways, and even experienced our amenity center in augmented reality with Apple Vision Pro Goggles. Hearing so many kind words about Hillwood Communities reminds us why we do what we do. H-E-B announced exciting news today for Denton County, Texas. The popular grocer-retailer announced plans to begin construction this Spring on a new store at Landmark by Hillwood, the 3,200-acre planned development at the southern entrance to #Denton. With a planned 6,000 homes, Landmark will be the largest master-planned community from award-winning residential developer, Hillwood Communities. The development will also offer 5 million square feet of retail and commercial managed by Hillwood Properties and the AllianceTexas team. This nature-forward development has 1,100 acres dedicated to outdoor recreation and includes a planned 300-acre park and entertainment district. Landmark by Hillwood is a multi-billion dollar investment in the future of #Denton within the AllianceTexas corridor. Landmark is slated to open in spring 2026. We are very proud and excited to share that we were honored with seven Gold Awards at the National Association of Home Builders #TheNationalsAwards last night, including the prestigious Master-Planned Community of the Year for Pecan Square! Pecan Square also took home Golds for Best Lifestyle Program, Best Signage, and Best Overall Advertising. Wolf Ranch was recognized with the Best Community Amenity for River Camp and Best Website. Additionally, our DFW Realtor Rewards Program won Best Realtor/Broker Program. A huge thank you to our incredible team and partners for their dedication and hard work in making our success possible!

What a night! On February 13, we celebrated our 2024 DFW Realtor Rewards Program at the beautiful Circle T Ranch. We recognized Realtors who sold multiple homes in our DFW communities last year and drew our 5 winners for the Grand Prize trip to the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, and of course, the highlight of the evening was our custom hat bar where everyone picked out their perfect hat and added a fun, personalized touch. This insightful session explored key industry factors, including demographic trends, market analysis techniques, and Hillwood Communities' approach to building successful residential neighborhoods. With over 15 years of experience in real estate, Andrew Pieper brings a wealth of knowledge to the field. In addition to his leadership role at Hillwood, he remains deeply engaged with the SMU community, serving on the Folsom Institute for Real Estate Associate Board and mentoring the next generation of industry professionals. A major milestone for the Town of Argyle - Tom Thumb Supermarket is officially under construction at Harvest Town Center! The 63,000 square foot grocery store will be completed in Spring 2026 and offer fresh departments, a Starbucks, Drive-Up-N-Go™, and a pharmacy.
