Investor interest has been picking up in Asia Pacific’s nascent multi-family market. Within the region, Japan’s for-rent residential sector is uniquely well developed while other markets such as South Korea have started to rise up the curve. The living sector in Japan is one of Hines’ key priorities in Asia Pacific, and we have aggregated a portfolio of 23 assets and over 1,100 units across Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka and Fukuoka.
