Construction overruns, delays, and deficiencies cost the built environment $1.6 trillion annually. Teknobuilt has developed an end-to-end AI platform for capital projects to eliminate inefficiencies in workflows by alerting managers of future delays and quality and safety issues. Their innovative digital construction block integrates design, supply chain, carbon lifecycle, and field-testing data, consolidating all information in a single location—allowing managers to deliver projects faster, stay on-budget, and with optimized supply chain logistics.  Watch Co-founder and President Abhishek Srivastava’s pitch from #ClimatetechSummit to learn more:

  • What if your EV charger came to you? Picture this: you pull into a parking lot and all of the EV-charger spots are full. Or, there aren’t any chargers at all, since the lot operator didn’t want to spend the upfront capital to install them. What if, instead, the EV charger came to your car while you were parked, charged it to full, and was gone by the time you got back? That’s what Inductive Robotics is building: an autonomous robot that delivers charge to your vehicle while it’s parked in any spot. Unlike traditional EV chargers, these can be inexpensively deployed in a matter of days without costly infrastructure installments. Read our full feature on this #EVCharging startup:

  • Perhaps Greentown Houston's most delicious tradition? Our Crawfish Boil with CLS Wind! 🦐 🌽 🦀 Last week was our third annual community social lunch in partnership with our member CLS Wind to bring together the community through an activity that truly breaks the ice (and the shells)—because what better way to get to know your desk neighbors than getting elbow-deep in a seafood boil with them?! Thanks so much to everyone who came out to enjoy this Texas favorite together and of course to the CLS Wind team for helping make this happen! 🦐 #Texas #crawfishboil #communitybuilding

  • When did you start thinking about your career? For many, it was in high school—which is why Massachusetts is beginning to educate high school students about careers in clean energy and climatetech. We are so proud that two of our community members—Caitlyn McCloskey, a process engineer at Sublime Systems, and Sarah Stolt, a research engineer at Adept Materials, are featured in the new Massachusetts Climate Careers: Powering the Future Curriculum, alongside our VP of Labs + Safety Greg Ralich and Sr. Manager of Safety Kay Lowden! We were so proud to see our community featured at the premiere of the new curriculum alongside employers and high school students. Thank you to the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center for driving forward this initiative to build the climate and clean energy workforce, and to the many folks who made this video series happen, including Another Age Productions, Francesca Reznik, and the many featured MA employers that are growing the climatetech workforce. Check out Lesson 9 to see Caitlyn and Sarah (DQ) in action, talking about how they found their careers in climatetech: https://lnkd.in/eaFE2kYu Learn more about the curriculum here: https://lnkd.in/ezme2h-4

  • "We are Greentown super-users." rStream joined our prototyping lab in 2022 and has since tripled its head count and quadrupled its lab footprint to develop its autonomous waste-sorting technology. The team won our Community Champion award at the end of last year and can reliably be found at our CEO and CTO roundtables, lunch and learns and workshops, social mixers, and beyond (the proof is in the photos from our monthly community programming roundups)! And of course, round the corner of our lab at 444 Somerville and you'll always find their team working away on their signature mobile trailer. "We use the space heavily—we use the prototyping lab, we use the machine shop and all it has, we use the desks. We’re here every single day," says Ian Goodine, CEO and co-founder of rStream. “[Being at Greentown has] been perfect,” Goodine says. “Commercial real estate would’ve put us in a position where we would’ve needed to finance the company differently, because this isn’t something that grants cover. So being in Greentown, without substantial capital expenses to get started, has allowed us the flexibility to explore what the most optimal solution is for us and our customers. That’s really important to me.” Ethan Walko #hardware #recycling #wastemanagement #computervision #community #bostonstartups Incredible video by Scott Hancock!
