Essential Pre-Travel Health Checklist👇 Before traveling internationally, it is crucial to undergo a pre-travel health screen to ensure you are protected against potential health risks. This screening involves several key elements: ✅Standard Vaccinations 👉 Make sure you are up-to-date on routine vaccinations like MMR, tetanus, polio, etc ✅Region-Specific Vaccinations 👉 You may need a yellow fever, or typhoid vaccination to enter certain countries like Brazil or Indonesia! ✅Medical History Review 👉 Your doctor can assess existing medical conditions like asthma, diabetes, or allergies. ✅Potential Travel Risks 👉 Think about altitude sickness, malaria, and mosquito-borne diseases! ✅Blood Tests 👉 Serology tests may be conducted to check immunity levels for hepatitis A and B, ensuring you do not need booster shots. ✅Prescription Medication Management 👉 Check to make sure you do not need refills and carry the prescription in original packaging! See a previous post and blog to learn about what medications may be confiscated upon arrival! Believe it or not, you can find WAY more information here: https://lnkd.in/errT56u9

Ah, spring in the northern hemisphere. If you’re an angler, spring means one thing: hungry fish. You’d be pretty hungry, too, if you were a fish and spent the last few months avoiding the ice and snow , hunkered down in a deep hole in a stream, slowing your metabolism and occasionally expending as little energy as possible to catch an invertebrate drifting by. After a winter of what is essentially dieting, freshwater stream fish, like trout, are as eager to eat as anglers are to catch them. Take this as your friendly reminder to pack your med kit with you as you head out this spring, and of course, your Global Rescue Member! PC: Global Rescue Safe Travel Partner, The Fly Shop
