NomadHer International Women's Day is coming to Busan, South Korea, and Paris, France. This is another meaningful movement for NomadHer, as we spotlight the voices and stories of women in our local community. For our upcoming Busan International Women's Day NomadHer is partnering with Park Hyatt Busan and Roman Kardashov  to amplify the voices of women, promote empowerment, and highlight how we are creating a safe space for female travelers. Google made a documentary about the founding story of NomadHer and it is out finally 🥹 We are the first ever South Korean app company to be featured on the #weareplay global campaign with Google Play When they first contacted to me from London, they asked me "Hyo, where do you wish to film? We can go anywhere in the world." I asked them, "Can we film in Busan, my home town where I was born and raised?" 5 months later, their production team flew all the way from London to Busan, South Korea to film the story. "We are not making an app but we are making a movement where women can dream and see the bigger world." It's been now 7 years when I first come up with the idea of creating the community for female travelers back in 2018 during my study Sciences Po and guess where we are today. "Despite her love for travel, Kim was able to bring the focus back to her home country of Korea with "She Can Travel Busan," a NomadHer festival that took place from Sept. 27 to 29. The festival, hosted in partnership with the Busan city government, gathered as many as 100 NomadHer users from over 20 countries for three days at Gemstone, a cafe hidden along the coast of Busan's Songjeong-dong. Kim was the host and lead organizer of this annual event that saw a diverse group of women come together to celebrate the joys of solo travel" https://lnkd.in/gGsZmVq2
