Global Rescue’s Post

Essential Pre-Travel Health Checklist👇 Before traveling internationally, it is crucial to undergo a pre-travel health screen to ensure you are protected against potential health risks. This screening involves several key elements: ✅Standard Vaccinations 👉 Make sure you are up-to-date on routine vaccinations like MMR, tetanus, polio, etc ✅Region-Specific Vaccinations 👉 You may need a yellow fever, or typhoid vaccination to enter certain countries like Brazil or Indonesia! ✅Medical History Review 👉 Your doctor can assess existing medical conditions like asthma, diabetes, or allergies. ✅Potential Travel Risks 👉 Think about altitude sickness, malaria, and mosquito-borne diseases! ✅Blood Tests 👉 Serology tests may be conducted to check immunity levels for hepatitis A and B, ensuring you do not need booster shots. ✅Prescription Medication Management 👉 Check to make sure you do not need refills and carry the prescription in original packaging! See a previous post and blog to learn about what medications may be confiscated upon arrival! Believe it or not, you can find WAY more information here: https://lnkd.in/errT56u9
