In this week’s CEO brief… Alan Murray, President of the WSJ Leadership Institute, commented on Trump’s tariff strategy: “Bringing manufacturing and supply chains closer to home is likely to remain a core U.S. economic policy for decades.” Jodi Xu Klein, Deputy Bureau Chief at WSJ Pro, reported on remarks from former Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, who said Trump’s tariff strategy could eventually lead to lower tariffs globally. Chip Cutter, WSJ Reporter, spoke with Horacio Rozanski, CEO of Booz Allen Hamilton, who addressed the Trump administration’s stance toward consulting firms: “It’s been a jolt to the system.” Alan Murray also highlighted Zipline, the drone delivery company that now claims to be the world’s largest autonomous delivery operation.
