Meet one of our Cinchies, Benjamin Bridge
🤠👋 Howdy, my name is Benjamin. I work in the application back end,
and sometimes the kiosk, for the dining applications. As part of my job
I help build the tools and systems that power food ordering for Cinchio.
The engineering team works hard to make the easiest, most intuitive
application to simplify our customers lives.
🚀 What did you want to be when you were younger?
When I was younger I wanted to be an astronaut. I don't keep up
with all the science, but I love hearing about all the innovation in the
space industry.
📖 What would the title be if you wrote a memoir about your life?
If I had a title for my memoir, it would definitely be "Learning
the Hard Way". I have definitely found the long way around for my path
in life, but it has made me the who I am.
⚡ If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
It might be a cliche, but if I had a super power it would be
flying. I love the experience of traveling more than any arriving at any
particular destination. The freedom to go anywhere would be amazing.
🥕 What’s some of the best advice anyone has ever given you?
I am a bit of a Shakespeare fan, and have always been
encouraged by "To thine own self be true"
🕺 What are you're hobbies and interests outside of work?
I think the thing people find most interesting about me is that
I have competed on the country dance circuit. I have been
dancing for many years, and still take lessons and still enjoy the
occasional social dance. I even DJ for a small country dance in town.
😁 What makes you excited about Cinchio?
The most exciting thing about Cinchio for me is serving our
customers. Too many people spend all of their time thinking about
software instead of thinking about serving their customers. Software is
just a tool to make life better.
