  • It’s hard to imagine a more tireless and effective champion for the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community than Senator Jeanne Shaheen. Fueled by the diagnosis of her granddaughter, she has fought relentlessly in Congress alongside her Senate Diabetes Caucus co-chair, Senator Susan Collins, to ensure the Federal government is doing all it can for every American with #T1D. So many of our landmark advocacy achievements could not have happened without her. On behalf of Breakthrough T1D and the entire T1D community, thank you, Senator Shaheen, for being an incredible partner in our mission to cure T1D.
