This project involved the installation of HVAC units on the roof, requiring extra precautions to ensure a safe and secure worksite. Our team took every necessary step to minimize risks and protect both workers and the surrounding environment: ✅ Fall protection system in place, with safety harnesses properly worn and anchored. ✅ PPE compliance—hard hats and safety harnesses worn at all times. ✅ Warning lines with flags set up to mark work areas and prevent accidental falls. Cardio Kidz is a youth running program dedicated to supporting the physical, social and emotional growth of children from the ages of 2-14, all abilities, in a positive community-focused environment. Cardio Kidz provides a positive atmosphere where encouragement and healthy competition allow every child to thrive. Executive Vice President Scott Kurinsky introduced BEAR to new members and refreshed the seasoned members about BEAR Construction’s 40-year history of providing client-focused General Contracting and Construction Management services. BEAR recently completed a significant, multi-phased renovation at The Drake Oak Brook Plaza. The project spanned the grand entry to the back corridors and included all public spaces. More than a face lift of finishes, the extensive project scope included removal of mail drops boxes, infilling of the lobby floor, new revolving doors and ADA compliant swing doors.
