We are here to stop climate change and power global industry
About us
Antora is unlocking zero-emissions industrial energy, cheaper than fossil fuels. Antora’s thermal batteries store energy from renewables as heat for days on end, delivering that stored energy as heat and power at the scale and temperatures that large industrial operations demand. We’re on a path to eliminate gigatons of emissions while strengthening domestic manufacturing, curbing industrial air pollution, and enhancing America’s clean energy leadership. We are growing our company with people who put team and mission first, value connection through laughter and joy, and build with humility and openness. We are committed to continue building a diverse, passionate, and creative team dedicated to a future where every industrial facility, everywhere on earth, is powered by abundant, low-cost, zero-emissions energy.

Last week, Antora's Principal Program Manager, Sahika Vatan, Ph.D., spoke at the Silicon Valley Women in Engineering Conference, which brings together engineers, professors, and leaders shaping the future of digital and physical technology. Sahika detailed the importance not only innovation in technology, but also of culture and how we work:
I had the honor of speaking at the Silicon Valley Women in Engineering Conference #svwie2025 as part of the Future of Energy Systems session, where I got to brag about Antora Energy and the incredible technology we’re building. At Antora, we’re enabling industrial operations to run on low-cost, zero-emission energy with our American-made thermal batteries. By converting renewable electricity into reliable heat and power, we’re decarbonizing industry at scale—without compromise. But what resonated most with the audience wasn’t just our technology or our commitment to stopping climate change—it was our core values. The way we work and the culture we’ve built at Antora set us apart just as much as our groundbreaking innovations. A huge thank you to Dr. Ayca Erdogan and Dr. Hongrui Liu for the kind invitation to present. Events like these remind me that some of the best things you get paid in aren’t dollars—they’re new connections, fresh orchids, and the joy of inspiring the next generation of women engineers. And that, truly, is priceless. https://lnkd.in/g95mf8QS

Today in Utility Dive, Antora's Director of State & Regulatory Affairs Noah Long details how thermal batteries are a powerful tool for utilities and grid operators to unlock a more flexible, reliable and efficient grid. The same advantages that thermal batteries hold for industry — such as low costs, fast charging and long storage durations — also position thermal batteries as one of the most flexible assets to ever operate on the grid, Noah writes. This flexibility enables the technology to increase grid resilience, make better use of existing assets and spur investment in the buildout of new low-cost generation.
