Our CEO, Evan Smith, and former U.S. Commerce Secretary and Governor of Rhode Island, Gina Raimondo, just kicked off Directions, the Altana Summit, in New York City. Evan, Secretary Raimondo, and hundreds of other public and private sector leaders are collaborating in real time on the key issues shaping trade. Takeaways so far: - Chaos, unpredictability, and shocks to the global trade system are here to stay - Mastering trade in an era of global fragmentation means knowing your products: what they are, how they’re sourced, how they move - Network-level problems in global trade require collaborative, network-based solutions

We're excited to have led Portal's $17.5M seed round, with participation from Mach33 Financial Group, FUSE, First In, TFX Capital , Offline Ventures, and Atypical Ventures!
