Over the last 3 years at Portal Space Systems we've been scrappy, raising just $2.6M in private capital to get to where we are today. I know how painful it is to pivot after raising significant funding, so before throwing fuel on the fire, it was critical we had alignment... Alignment on the need Alignment on the product Alignment on the team Today we have that. Every day the Space Force and DoD increasingly emphasize the need for mobility on orbit. We've developed a capability that provides an order of magnitude improvement in maneuver over what's currently available. And we've assembled a world class team to solve the problem. So today we're announcing our $17.5M oversubscribed Seed round to make Portal's Supernova spacecraft a reality. We take no joy in simply raising a lot of money, we would've preferred to do it with less cash, but this is what we think it will take to deliver for our customers and its time to accelerate.
