🌙 We are over the moon! The Ad Accessibility Network - a joint effort by ISBA and Union des marques supported by RMA - has won a specially awarded WFA President's Award. 🏆 The programme recognises outstanding industry initiatives as part of the WFA's Global Marketer Week. But what is the Ad Accessibility Network and why is it important? It’s estimated that 15% of the European population has a significant disability, which would affect their ability to consume audiovisual content. However, disability has not had an equal level of prominence within inclusion discussions, and progress on accessibility is limited by lack of awareness. Particularly challenging is its reliance on the whole value chain to drive progress. Progress requires a collaborative effort across the supply chain as well as markets, both achieved via the alliance. The Network takes a systems approach, dismantling the barriers to action and proving that together we are better and stronger. Congratulations to the other incredible winners Association of National Advertisers, @Sveriges Annonsörer, UPA - Utenti Pubblicità Associati and BVA Bond van Adverteerders. You can read more about their brilliant work in the link below. Special call out to our own Michelle Yeadon for her incredible hard and continual work with the Alliance and wider support to make advertising accessible for all. #InclusiveMarketing #ResponsibleMarketing #Accessibility #Awards #GlobalMarketersWeek
