🏗️ Plan for new wind farms enters final stages   A new generation of floating wind farms off the coasts of Wales and South West England have moved a step closer as the leasing round has entered its final stages.   Schemes like this can’t exist without important on-shore infrastructure. 🏆And the BAFTA goes to…! 🏆   Earlier this month we worked with BAFTA and Westminster City Council to host a skills event for students from schools in Westminster and the surrounding boroughs.   📽️ From choreography to #animation, the 15-18 year olds attended interactive sessions run by industry professionals on the #transferableskills needed for career opportunities in film, television and games.    This event was part of our ongoing partnership with independent arts charity #BAFTA to support skills development in the local community, hosted at 195 Piccadilly, the home of its year-round learning and talent development programmes.

🌊 Did you know that the Severn Estuary has the highest tidal range in Europe? 🌊 The Severn Estuary Commission’s report today on the potential for #tidal range in the Severn Estuary is welcome as we will need to explore a range of different technologies to deliver the UK’s #energy transition.
