Our Campus Community Funds are working to deliver social impact, in the last two years bringing over £170,000 to charities to support social mobility, employment skills and core organisational costs in charities. Partnering with The London Community Foundation, we connect our campus customers, partners, and local charities to establish meaningful collaborations which help people in the London boroughs of Camden, Westminster, Hackney and Tower Hamlets. Examples include: ✅ Our Broadgate Community Fund supported Stitches In Time in expanding their 'Sewing for Work Skills' programme, providing 154 marginalised women with English language, employability and personal development training. ✅ With support from our Regent’s Place Community Fund, the Samuel Lithgow Youth Centre has helped 660 young people by running a senior youth club, as well as an eight-week holiday programme for 200 children. ✅ Paddington Central Community Fund enabled the Middle Eastern Women and Society Organisation to run 26 English language classes, empowering migrant and refugee women to rebuild their lives in London. 🎥 Watch to learn more from our team at Broadgate. #SocialImpact #CommitAndCollaborate

Today we have announced we are committing to the major repositioning of Broadgate Tower, a 34-storey office building at our Broadgate campus in the City of London. We're creating high quality spaces for our customers: ➡️ A three-storey extension with a c.6,200 sq ft terrace to the front of the building ➡️ End-of-trip facilities, including cycle storage and shower facilities ➡️ Transforming Broadgate Plaza, creating a green oasis and enhancing biodiversity The project is targeting BREEAM Outstanding, as well as an EPC A rating and a WELL certification, to ensure an environmentally responsible design. With active leasing requirements at their highest level since 2011 and a 5 million sq ft shortfall of new or substantially refurbished space in the city over the next four years, Broadgate Tower is expected to attract occupiers looking for well-located, high quality office space in a thriving campus environment. • An exciting time for our Regent’s Place campus, as we last night secured planning approval for the redevelopment of Euston Tower. Our plans will transform this unique building into c.560,000 sq ft of premium workspace and public realm, right at the heart of London’s Knowledge Quarter, home to Europe’s growing tech ecosystem. The tower will create a new focal point in the skyline, comprising 19,000 sq ft floor plates, 360-degree views across central London, terraces and shared amenity spaces for collaboration, helping businesses to network, generate ideas and launch products. https://lnkd.in/dunv8YHy #CommitAndCollaborate #Workspace #EustonTower

Incorporating sustainable practices into the built environment doesn't happen overnight. For more than a decade, 199 Bishopsgate at our Broadgate campus has undergone a series of transformations to enhance its energy performance and reduce carbon reliance, ensuring that our occupiers can benefit from dynamic, energy efficient, and environmentally conscious buildings for longer. Over the years, our 'rolling retrofit' approach to 199 Bishopsgate elevated the building's Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating from D to A, showcasing the long-term success of these innovations. Take a look at the history of our sustainability upgrades and their impact over a 12-year commitment. #BuildingDesign #Retrofit British Land Workspace
