Dear Friends of SLYC, As we begin to develop a long-term vision and strategy for SLYC, we want to ensure it reflects the needs, experiences, and aspirations of the users, community and partners we work with. Thank you to our funders for supporting SLYC. Over the years, this has helped us deliver our senior youth club and holiday programme for hundreds of young people in Camden.
Our Campus Community Funds are working to deliver social impact, in the last two years bringing over £170,000 to charities to support social mobility, employment skills and core organisational costs in charities. Partnering with The London Community Foundation, we connect our campus customers, partners, and local charities to establish meaningful collaborations which help people in the London boroughs of Camden, Westminster, Hackney and Tower Hamlets. Examples include: ✅ Our Broadgate Community Fund supported Stitches In Time in expanding their 'Sewing for Work Skills' programme, providing 154 marginalised women with English language, employability and personal development training. ✅ With support from our Regent’s Place Community Fund, the Samuel Lithgow Youth Centre has helped 660 young people by running a senior youth club, as well as an eight-week holiday programme for 200 children. ✅ Paddington Central Community Fund enabled the Middle Eastern Women and Society Organisation to run 26 English language classes, empowering migrant and refugee women to rebuild their lives in London. 🎥 Watch to learn more from our team at Broadgate. #SocialImpact #CommitAndCollaborate
