This time next week, I fear I will be a broken woman after walking 20 miles for this wonderful cause. Please take a few minutes to donate as little as £1 to support myself, Geoff Crow, Pamela Badham (nee Wils) MCIPR and team members from forRefugees as we walk 20 miles in and around Edinburgh on 15th September. Your support will mean so much to people who have so little. ❤️ https://lnkd.in/ex6STwz2

Yesterday, we had the great pleasure of welcoming SITE Scotland: Society for Incentive Travel Excellence to Winton Castle for their Summer social and what a great day we had. There is nothing like having 70 of your peer group, hotel and tourism experts from all over Scotland, coming to your venue, to get the adrenalin going! In fact, when welcoming the group, Francis Ogilvy did remark that the decibel level of chat was something to behold (we prefer to call it networking!). It was good to start a packed day with a period of quiet reflection and chair yoga before throwing ourselves into such varied activities as dog and duck herding, clay pigeon shooting, bagpipe playing and an interactive falconry display before tucking into great food from Saltire Hospitality Ltd and Edinburgh Gin cocktails. The day ended with sunshine and a rousing performance from Piping Services Scotland Saltire Beat and delicious treats from Luca Ices. A great day with friends and colleagues #site #eventprofs
