    📢HSBC UK has launched on TikTok 📢 After 18 months in the making, today we add TikTok to our social media landscape here at HSBC UK. It’s been quite a journey. I started mulling over how to approach this project back in 2023 with one clear goal: ‘how do we do it in the right way?’. (There’s nothing more cringe than a brand trying to do TikTok, after all 😬). I’m proud to say we’ve reached that goal, with our Money Mindset strategy now live on the channel. Our content focuses on making money work for you, with those with an ambitious, growth mindset front of mind. What makes our approach a little different is our content is presented entirely by HSBC colleagues. They’re an amazing team and have over 40 years combined experience at the bank between them. Huge kudos to them for getting in front of camera and giving this a go (you know who you are!) We’re the first HSBC market globally to launch an organic brand presence on the platform, and the quickest to launch a social media platform for the business. It’s not always essential to be quick, but I’m definitely taking this as a win and feel super proud of this project. This has of course been a ginormous team effort and has not been possible without the support and counsel from some very talented individuals along the way.     TikTok Shop is finally coming to Germany, France and Italy next week. After setting up in Spain and Ireland last year, brands will now be able to get set up on TikTok Shop and access a very untapped market. Carrefour have joined in France, while cosmetics brand cosnova have joined in Germany. Following our TikTok Shop event last week we'll shortly be releasing an in depth guide for new sellers on TikTok Shop in these countries, so watch this space! #TikTokShop

    Incredibly excited to announce that Dominic McGregor has joined Nonsensical | The TikTok Agency as a non-exec advisor! Dom's experience growing Social Chain, one of the most disruptive social agencies, has already been so valuable helping us to navigate how to effectively scale an agency while continuing to deliver world class results for our clients. With a 38 strong team, working with the biggest brands on TikTok and TikTok Shop, we're only just getting started. We're also in a very unique position of being a full service TikTok agency that also run our own TikTok accounts with over 1,000,000 followers. We have been all in on TikTok for the past 4.5 years! We have live stream studios and presenters, relationships with 1,000s of creators and influencers, affiliate networks, paid media specialists, content creators, organic specialists and community builders. We're doing this in the UK but also in the US and Europe... With Sam based in Berlin with a team of content creators we're already helping brands scale TikTok Shop in the new European markets.
