Happy Valentine’s from Free Soul! We’re more Galentine’s celebrators than Valentine's. So, this year we spent an afternoon discussing our brand and company goals for 2025, followed by almost too-pretty-to-eat GRAPE & Fig charcuterie boards, plenty of wine and a whole lot of ‘yapping’ (very little of it work-related). The perfect excuse to bring the team together and celebrate the Free Soul gals - because let’s be honest, where would we be without them?

Three weeks ago, we put out a simple question out on Instagram:   “Who would be interested in a Free Soul community retreat, completely free of charge?”   Influencer trips are great, but we had an idea: what about giving back to the people who rally behind the brand, subscribe to our products monthly and have truly got us to where we are today.   The response? Overwhelming.    We knew our community was engaged, but we didn’t expect to receive over 2,000 applications in just 24 hours.   Beyond the numbers, what we learned from spending time with our attendees was invaluable. From the stories shared, we saw just how many of our community members are navigating: PCOS, endometriosis, hormonal imbalances, fertility problems - just to name a few. But most importantly, we heard how Free Soul has genuinely made a difference in their lives.   Choosing just 15 women for the retreat was no easy task. But from the moment they arrived, real connections were formed. In just 24 hours, they created a space filled with trust, support, and friendship.   From a nutrition talk with Studio Nourish to a delicious three-course meal, followed by a sound bath with Osher Wellness, cryotherapy, beach walks and an exclusive panel talk - where Lucy Murray, Luce Deakin, and Ellie McCall took to the stage to share everything Free Soul and what’s coming next. It was a packed 24 hours.   We’ve always known that community is at the heart of Free Soul. But walking away from this retreat, we realised just how powerful that truly is.   The best bit? This is just the beginning ✨

Yesterday, we celebrated Lucy Murray’s 3-year anniversary at Free Soul—what a ride it’s been for our Northern girl! Lucy came on board in 2021 as our Social Media and Content Manager, fast forward to today, she’s our Brand Director, helping shape Free Soul into what it is now. Back when she joined, we were a tiny, and remote, team of just 4 —fast forward to now, we’re a whole family of 25 (soon to be 27)! To celebrate, we surprised Lucy with her favourite tunes (Sam Fender, of course), Black and White Newcastle United themed cookies and her very own perfume-making workshop right here in the office, topped off with a toast– wellness is all about balance, after all 🥂 Lucy, thanks for all the passion and dedication you bring to Free Soul, it wouldn’t be the same without you. We can’t wait to see where you take things next!
