    BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! Wild has officially been acquired by Unilever. When Freddy and I launched Wild (exactly five years ago today!), our ambition was clear - drive real change in how people consume personal care by making sustainable bathroom products mainstream. This milestone is a huge step towards that goal. Joining Unilever, with their deep expertise and global reach, will supercharge our mission to eliminate single-use plastic from bathrooms everywhere. Their belief in Wild’s refillable model is a powerful validation that mass consumer change isn’t just possible, it’s inevitable. But this is only the beginning. We will be doubling down on innovation, investing in cutting-edge sustainable technologies and working with Unilever’s world-class formulators to make our Wild products even better. Our promise remains: “Great for your body, great for the planet.” On a personal note, the last five years have been an absolute whirlwind - thrilling, humbling, stressful and emotional in equal measure. Our team of over 100 people, or Wildlings as we call them (sorry GoT), are beyond passionate and dedicated to Wild’s mission and it’s for that reason I’ve so thoroughly enjoyed Wild’s journey to date. It’s also for exactly that reason that Unilever have acquired us and I look forward to continuing to work with that same team to keep pushing Wild to its limits whilst becoming a truly mass market brand that won’t just be around for the next 5 years, but the next 100 years (unlike our compostable products!).     Yesterday we ran a workshop with Wild who generously lent us their employees (and office dogs!) for an afternoon to make reusable pads for people experiencing period poverty. With a shared mission of reducing waste in the hygiene space, it was a fantastic afternoon collaborating with a wonderful bunch - we even got a double rainbow to show for it, which can only be a good omen.     This week on Working @ Wild Wednesdays we are meeting Robin, our Senior Influencer Marketing Executive for our DACH Region 🇩🇪 What’s your go-to “Wild” weekend activity? "I’m all about staying active and competitive, so last year I ran my first marathon with my Dad. Now, I’m already signed up for my next Hyrox—obviously, I’m tackling that one with zero sweat thanks to Wild! But London’s got so much more to offer, whether it’s pop-up events or secret concerts—there’s always something new to explore, and I’m all about diving in! 🏃♀️ What’s your favourite thing about your role? Helping Wild make its mark in the German market has been such fun! I love getting pictures from friends of their fave influencers rocking Wild in their content and thinking, “Yeah, I made that happen!”. I also love networking and exchanging ideas and strategies with other brands & top performers. Marketing here is super data-driven, which means we can instantly see what’s working and what’s not 📊 What makes you “Wild”? I am bubbly, adventurous, and always saying yes to new things! I’m all about meeting new people, trying random hobbies, and tasting all the weird food London has to offer. Pressure? Bring it on—I thrive in it, which is exactly why I love working at a startup like Wild where we are "Wildly" ambitious and hungry for success! 🔥

    Are YOU a cat person or a dog person? It's working @ Wild Wednesdays and today we're saying hello to Cal, our Demand Planning Manager and finding out if he's team cats or dogs. 😺🐶 Why are you Wild? "I am Wild as a large part of my job revolves around numbers, and lots of them, and you'd need to be really wild to try and make sense of them. 🔢 At any part of the day, you could look at my screen and it would seem like something from the Matrix. Call me Morpheous. 🕶️ On a more serios note, one of our key values here at Wild is to be ambitious, which I try to embody every day, always looking to make those little improvements to make things smoother and more efficient for everyone!" What does your typical weekend look like? "Lots of activities when the weather allows it!☀️☀️ You'll usually find me at the Battersea Park Parkrun on a Saturday morning, but otherwise its plenty of long runs, tennis, golf, walks, trips to 'it's bagels', and capping the night off with a movie. 🍿 I have a free tennis court near me, all challengers welcome..." Are you a cat person or a dog person? "I love both cats and dogs, and despite growing up with dogs my entire life, I have to say that cats edge it for me (big up my wee ginger tabby back home, Humphrey, who turns 18 this year). 😺😺😺 I am currently in the process of trying to convince my girlfriend to let me get a cat here in London, so maybe this post can be the straw that breaks the camel's back?? 👀" Now it's your turn - let us know if you're 😺 or 🐶... why, you ask?     Welcome to: Working @ Wild Wednesdays 🤩   Today we're meeting Emma, our Performance Marketing Executive for the US market. We asked Emma the most important questions we could think of (duh). WHY are you wild? "Because I'm ALWAYS up for a Challenge💪" WHAT superpower would you choose to have? "Teleportation, obviously, an eco-conscious traveler♻️" What's the Wildest thing about the US, according to you? "The stunning National Parks, the wildlife, and all the amazing people working to protect sustainability and conservation🌍" We might have some very exciting news related to Emma's role coming up later this week... but for now, we'll agree with Emma's dream to be an eco-conscious traveler, as long as that means spreading Wild far and wide into history to stop even more single-use plastic from ending up in landfill.
