Mowgli is coming to Belfast! We are crossing the Irish Sea to open our newest restaurant in Belfast this summer! Nestled in Victoria Square, Mowgli Belfast will bring our signature chat bombs and delicious home cooked Indian food to the heart of this vibrant city. It is our mission to enrich lives in the cities we go to, creating purposeful careers and supporting local communities. With every new opening, we create jobs and establish a partnership with a local house charity, continuing our mission of helping to make a real difference. Mowgli has now raised over £2 million for incredible causes, from cancer charities to children’s hospices, through our charity The Mowgli Trust. Rwanda – The Land of a Thousand Hills 🌍 What a way to start our year by sending 15 of our team members to visit Rwanda through our charity partnership with Liverpool One Church and Compassion UK. For a week our team immersed themselves in the heart of the communities we support—meeting the children and families benefiting from our co-designed community project in Kigali. This initiative is a catalyst for education, empowerment, and sustainable growth, not only for the children in the project but the holisitc impact on their families and wider community.  From witnessing thriving small businesses, taking part in sport activities with the children, to exploring Rwanda’s breathtaking national parks, the experience was nothing short of transformative for our teams. It is a great honor that we can send our team members to see firsthand the impact of our work, reminding us why giving back is at the heart of Mowgli’s mission to enrich lives. These life-changing experiences shape our team and empower them to see how we can make a difference no matter what roles we have, we can all make a difference. Mowgli exists to enrich lives and today, #DayOfEducation we celebrate our international project with Plan International UK. This project is not only enriching but empowering children, and showing our teams how we can have an impact around the world. It was an honour for our team members to meet the children and teachers in October 2024 and we can't wait to see what more we can achieve with this project

A week in Varanasi, India 🌏 ✨ In October, 10 members of our team had the incredible opportunity to visit Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh – the ancient city that inspired Mowgli Street Food Through our charity partnership with Plan International UK and Plan_India they explored our ongoing project supporting two girls schools in the heart of Varanasi. During the visit, they immersed themselves in the vibrant culture of one of the world’s oldest cities, saw first-hand the improvements funded by donations from the Mowgli Trust and connected with the amazing students and teachers whose lives have been touched by this project. At Mowgli, we believe education has the power to shape brighter futures and transform lives, a power which our team have witnessed in action.
