💥 NEW DEVICE! We are integrating a new remote stethoscope into our eHealth Station. 🤝 The stethoscope has been one of the most requested additional measurement devices by doctors - auscultation of the heart is important in the diagnosis of many serious health conditions. Our already outstanding cardiovascular disease and risk measurement capabilities are reaching an entirely new level. 📝 We have signed an exclusive contract with the British start-up LightHearted AI regarding the use of their groundbreaking technology in autonomous health check-ups with our Stations. 💯 LightHearted AI has developed the LightScope, a laser-based valve disease diagnostic device that delivers the diagnostic capabilities of an ultrasound, used by a clinician in the radiology department, directly to patients' hands for self use. A doctor is able to diagnose for example aortic valve stenosis and mitral valve regurgitation with data provided by the device. 🫀 The device shines an eye safe laser from a distance to the patient’s neck. With a single scan of just 10 seconds it captures waves and recreates the electrical activity, sound, and pressure of the heart. AI is then used to analyze the information and provide a diagnosis of conditions in the heart. ✅ In just a single scan, the LightScope captures multiple biological signals at an unprecedented accuracy and with 4x greater signal-to-noise-ratio compared to a traditional stethoscope. This allows for more accurate and earlier diagnoses than ever before. A recent clinical study showed the LightScope to perform with equal diagnostic accuracy to the current gold standard. 🏥 Both teams are really excited that this collaboration will bring future hospital-grade diagnostics capabilities directly into patients' hands, empowering them to find an early  diagnosis, streamlining data collection for the healthcare system and making monitoring possible in an entirely new way. 📈 We are integrating the LightScope into the first Stations at the end of 2025. All existing customers can get this revolutionary new functionality to their Stations as an update if needed. #ehealth #eHealthStation #stethoscope #ai #uk #finland

To the women in tech in my network, Women-led startups raised only 2.8% of all venture capital funding last year despite evidence showing that women-led startups outperform their male-led competition. I have been given a platform tomorrow to make the case to why we should fund more women to a guest list composed of capital market advisors and representatives from everything from FTSE100s to other start ups. I want to take this opportunity to speak for women in tech, so please do reach out if you have any opinions that you think should be shared! Hattie Barnes, Emmie Faust, Ingrid Murray

We can't talk #AI without talking gender balance - 🤖🚫👭 That's why I'm thrilled to be doing this timely event on getting more women into the sector. Estimates put women at around only 22% of the AI workforce. With such a future defining #tech, how do we get more women represented in the sector & more female-led businesses funded? Join to hear from super experts: -Virginia Bull, Investec -Amy Lawson, Sage -Lauren Crawley-Moore, LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) -Lucrezia Cester, PhD, LightHearted AI -Shail Deep, Experian 👏Well done to Burson Buchanan for putting this event on. I used to work at Hill & Knowlton before the merger to become Burson so I feel like chairing this event will be like going home after a semester at uni to find your parents have remodeled your bedroom. 😂 🎟️ To attend email rebalancinginnovation@buchanancomms.co.uk John Machin Women In Tech Policy Amelia A. • 🎉 LightHearted Turns One! 🎉 Today marks a special milestone for LightHearted—our first anniversary! 🚀 It's been an incredible journey, and we're thrilled to announce that, alongside celebrating our first year, we've also secured our first customer! It started with a two people team, Dilip and Lu, and soon after, we were fortunate to have David join us on this adventure. Over the past year, the most exciting part of this journey has been to welcome some fantastic new team members, all of whom have brought fresh energy and ideas to LightHearted. It's been extremely rewarding to work on our culture and curate a work environment we all enjoy being part of. A lot of work was coupled with fun group activities, from our weekly tea time, shared meals and the JumpStart 5k that got all of us on a shared running routine! Special thanks to our advisors Daniele Faccio, Sandosh Padmanabhan, Jay Pandit and Laurence Bargery for the past work, but especially for the very exciting work we are planning to execute together next year. And special thanks to the investors that have supported us and made this journey possible! As we celebrate these milestones, we're also looking forward to connecting with our community in new ways. On September 20th, we're hosting a Women in HealthTech/BioTech Breakfast—a fantastic opportunity to network, share insights, and learn more about latest developments in the field. Dm us if you want to join us for this event! Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey so far. We couldn't have done it without you, and we're excited to see what the next year brings! 💡💙 #LightHearted #OneYearAnniversary #HealthTech #BioTech #Innovation #WomenInTech Lucrezia Cester, PhD, Dilip Rajeswari, David Faluyi, Tejas Netke, Hattie Barnes, Jaymin Rajgor, Soumyanil Das, ilya starshinov

  • As always, many thanks to the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme and to InSites for continuously working with innovators to bring positive change in the NHS. This programme really cares about collaborating with innovators to improve the NHS. There was a consensus amongst those present that we need cheap tools such as LightHearted AI for screening in the community. Given the support received from the attendees, InSites is interested in supporting LightHearted with time and resources in this development phase and we are very excited and grateful for this support. Thank you Helen Davies-Cox, Ann Butts and Martin Davies for organising and to the attendees and the panel for their eagerness to support us.
