To the women in tech in my network, Women-led startups raised only 2.8% of all venture capital funding last year despite evidence showing that women-led startups outperform their male-led competition. I have been given a platform tomorrow to make the case to why we should fund more women to a guest list composed of capital market advisors and representatives from everything from FTSE100s to other start ups. I want to take this opportunity to speak for women in tech, so please do reach out if you have any opinions that you think should be shared! Hattie Barnes, Emmie Faust, Ingrid Murray

We can't talk #AI without talking gender balance - 🤖🚫👭 That's why I'm thrilled to be doing this timely event on getting more women into the sector. Estimates put women at around only 22% of the AI workforce. With such a future defining #tech, how do we get more women represented in the sector & more female-led businesses funded? I used to work at Hill & Knowlton before the merger to become Burson so I feel like chairing this event will be like going home after a semester at uni to find your parents have remodeled your bedroom. 😂 🎟️ To attend email rebalancinginnovation@buchanancomms.co.uk John Machin Women In Tech Policy Amelia A.
